Agent INTEGRATION

Planned

Codex

Codex support is planned.

The tool needs an API dialect or behavior Tsubasa does not currently expose.

API dialect: OpenAI Responses API required
Tested version: Not tested; protocol prerequisite missing
Streaming: Unavailable until a verified Responses interface exists
Verified on: 2026-08-13

No setup is published yet

The current protocol requirement is not implemented. A speculative configuration would be misleading, so this page records the blocker instead.

Current limitations

Codex documents responses as the only supported wire_api value for custom providers.
Tsubasa does not currently implement POST /v1/responses.
Do not point Codex at Tsubasa until this page is promoted with reproducible evidence.

Capability notes

System prompts: Not evaluated
Tool calls: Unavailable
Recommended model: tsubasa-pro

Evidence

Official Codex configuration reference reviewed on 2026-08-13.
No Tsubasa integration test exists because the required endpoint is not implemented.

Privacy reminder

Tsubasa does not write request content to usage history. The selected tool still handles content locally, and configured model infrastructure must process it to produce a response.

Connect your coding agent through the OpenAI API format. Tsubasa keeps request content out of usage history.
